Entry List for the 24 Hours Le Mans 2010 announced
The ACO today announced the initial entry list for the Le Mans 24 Hours 2010. 21 LMP1 cars, 9 LMP2 cars, 8 GT1 cars and 17 GT2 cars have been invited to participate in the Le Mans 24 Hours 2010.
Fabrice Bourrigaud & Vincent Beaumesnil alongside Jean Claude Plassart, the president of the Automobile Club de L’Ouest, were pleased to announce a full entry list of 55 vehicles for Le Mans 2010.
Of particular interest is the addition of Drayson Racing and Beechdean Racing to the LMP1 category, meaning that both Lord Drayson and Nigel Mansell will be added to the famous names behind teams in the top category. As reposted on this website previously Aston Martin Racing will also return to the LMP1 field.
Aston Martin are also featured elsewhere on the entry list with a DBR9 in the LMGT1 field and a Vantage in the LMGT2. Also breaking up the Ferraris and Porsches in the LMGT2 category is the RSR Jaguar XKR and the return to Le Mans for BMW motorsport.
